Forskning

Idag har vi varit med lillan på lasarettet för att delta i en forskningsstudie på kroppssammansättningen på spädbarn. En mätning görs när de är relativ nyfödd och sen en när de är 4 månader. Forskningen vill undersöka skillnaden på kroppssammansättningen på förtidigt födda barn och fullt gångna barn. Vi fick frågan när vi låg på BB och jag anser att om man kan hjälpa till för att tekniken och den medicinska utvecklingen ska gå framåt så varför inte. 

Men lille L tyckte INTE om att ligga i maskinen som mäter själva sammansättningen av kroppen. Såg ut som en liten rymdraket format som ett ägg, med ett fönster upptill. Hon passade på att i protest kissa i maskinen. 

Today we went with the little one at the hospital to participate in a research study on body composition in infants. A measurement is made when they are relatively newbornand then one when they are four months. The research aims to investigate the difference in body composition of premature babies and full term infants. We were asked when we were at BB and I think that if you can help to technology and progress in medicine will advance so why not.

But little L did not like to be in the machine that measures the actual composition of the body. Looked like a little rocket shaped like a egg, with a window at the top. She took the opportunity to pee in protest of the machine.
